Bottled in Bond at 100 proof; quality control is supervised by the US government. 4 to 5 years old in heavily charred oak barrels. Smells of sawdust and honey. Licorice. Very spicy all the way through and on into next year. Great for the price. Ideal for mixing, but with a touch of water this rye can stand on it's own. ch
