Supremely pure and focused blackcurrant with a sweet cassis edge to the fruit. Fine and elegant, but with a subtle power and minerality that gave this depth and complexity. Silky on the front palate, but with sooty tannins and solid backbone. I'd easily guess Pauillac instead of Napa. 1 31
