A blending of high rye and (barely legal) 51% rye mashbills, bottled at cask strength with no chill filtering. The nose is robust and spicy with aromas of lemon pepper, tobacco, honey and vanilla. The taste is thick, spicy, with a bit of corn sweetness at first, then notes of cinnamon, caramel, and vanilla. Delicate accents of wintergreen and star anise are wonderfully
