Niebaum Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Balcones Rye offering a unique blend ofNiebaum Estate 1882 gets its name from a genuinely pivotal year in Inglenook's history: 1882 was both the first vintage Gustave Niebaum ever produced at the estate he'd purchased in 1879, and the same year he dug an experimental aging cellar into the Mayacamas foothills, searching for the ideal conditions to barrel age his wine. Niebaum, a Finnish sea captain, had spent his first years on the property tearing out old Mission grapevines and replanting
