The origin story is as unexpected as the spirit itself: founders Mhairi Voelsgen and Erin Brophy set out to make a rhubarb liqueur, used literally a ton of rhubarb, and were unhappy with the result. Then they noticed that Ramazzotti and Zucca two of the most celebrated Italian amari both use rhubarb as a key ingredient, and pivoted
